CELEBRATING DIVINE FAVOUR & BABY OWOMA.

To God be the glory, Divine Favour was a girl living with her father and step mother in Eleme in Portharcort. At 17, she finished her WAEC and her step mother sent her away from the home, her father could not talk because she was the bread winner. She hung around with a family and later moved to Abia state with a friend in search of green pastures. She got a menial job but later lost their accomodation and a guy offered to give her shelter. He pregnanted her and denied it, to cover up the shame she contacted a friend in Abuja who invited her to stay with her. Her stay did not last long because she had issues and pregnancy was now showing. She was thrown out by her friend. A good Samaritan offered to help, rented a house for her and sent her upkeep until she had the baby. Last year we had a program she came with a tiny baby. She gave her life to Christ and was followed up by our counselig unit. I had a burden for this girl and investigated her, I discovered she was all alone, not connected with any family member, but she was very thirsty for God. Her rents expired so I gave her a room in one of our shelters and gave her supported her feeding from church & foundation welfare. I saw she was struggling caring for herself and the baby and I asked her if we could give the baby in a care home so she can sort herself plan to go back to school. We contacted Restorer of Paths care Foundation our Partner and they agreed to take her and the baby and in addition gave her a job to work in the Foundation school until she weans her baby and hopefully start school or learn a trade. Today 21st April 2026 she moved to the centre in Oturkpo. Thank God for grace and provisions for her. We hope to get in touch with her dad when she is settled. Join in praying for her and baby Owoma.
